#HolidayHelpers ~ ReUsies Re-Usable Baggies {Review & Giveaway}

ReUsies™ are a re-usable alternative to sandwich and snack bags.  Each one has the potential to eliminate hundreds of plastic bags. ReUsies™ are 100% cotton lined with leak-resistant nylon and are secured with hook and loop closures.  They are easy to clean either by hand, dishwasher, or washer and dryer.  Food safe and come in a variety of prints for any member of the household.

Do you know how many plastic baggies you use in a day? week? month? Let's see... 1 for the sandwich, 1 for crackers, 1 for fruit, 1 for snack... um, at least 4 a day! When Logan started Kindergarten, I wanted to be greener with his lunch. I did purchase a couple reusable baggies, and they were okay... but not very kid-friendly. The Velcro was too good (if you know what I mean). Logan had trouble opening the reusable bag. I was thrilled when Tomoson had ReUsies™ available to review. I signed up immediately and hoped to be one of the lucky bloggers to get the chance to test them out... and I was! The sent me 1 snack and 1 sandwich ReUsies™ bag.

The Snack bag is approx. 6” x 5”. Perfect for half sandwich, Goldfish, carrots, etc. The Sandwich bag is approx. 7.5” x 6”. Great for full-sized sandwiches, bagel, muffin, snacks for the entire family (road trip). This reusable bags come in 17 different patterns (mine is called Happy Fruit... such a cute name).

Small Bag

I used the small bag for Logan's Goldfish. Perfect size for his snack!

The small bag fit easily in the bottom of his lunch bag.

I use the larger bag for his sandwich and it fit well in the upper portion of his lunch bag.

ReUsies™ is kid-friendly... and MOM approved! Easy to use, easy to clean (I tossed them in the washer and hung them dry), and best of all NO WASTE!
