My daughter loves to watch episodes of Strawberry and her friends (unfortunately, in my area we don't have access to The Hub channel, so we enjoy Strawberry's adventures on Netflix).

The adorable Strawberry Shortcake PJs for girls come in sizes 4, 5 and 6/6X and are currently available online for $22.99. They are made from 100% soft polyester fabric (flame resistant). When Kira put them on she said they were "super soft." Kira loves her new pajamas! It was a bonus that they had Strawberry Shortcake and Custard on them! (Though she was wondering where Pupcake was???) They are perfect for the cool Spring nights we have been having this year. Plus they are just big enough that they will last through next Winter as well!

Logan wanted a scooter, but not just any scooter, a 3-wheeled scooter… and Kickboard USA had the perfect scooter for Logan called the Maxi Kick!

The award winning Maxi Kickboard, or maxi kick scooter from Micro is the quality 3-wheel scooter for ages 6-11, with a rider load of up to 120 lbs. The maxi kickboard is a lightweight (5 lbs) scooter that will grow with your child; the steering bar extends from 24 inches above the deck to 36 inches. The unique lean-and-steer design allows your child to ‘surf the sidewalks’. The double rear wheels and rear brake add stability and control making the maxi scooter a smoother, cooler, tougher scooter.

Features we love:

• Easy to assemble ~ All I had to do was attach the T-bar (steering rod) to the kickboard. It snapped in easily. I also double checked the screws per instructions (to make sure all screws were tight).
• Enjoyed the "Kick Scooters ~ The Ten Safety Rules" visually appealing safety rules for kids to easily understand. The BIGGEST thing is reminding Logan to wear his helmet! Safety first!
• Two wheels in front along with the T-bar allows for easy maneuvering; 3-wheel scooter design features the unique lean-and-steer mechanism
• Adjustable T-bar = use for taller riders (grows with the child)
• Maximum weight = 120 lbs!!!! Thank you! All of the scooters I have seen are only up to 50 lbs (or less). Nice to find a scooter that will hold more weight.
• The rear ‘spoon’ brake is easy for kids to stop the scooter, plus the double-rear wheels add stability. We made sure Logan knew how to "STOP" his scooter before taking off.
• The maxi kick is well made and sturdy. It is designed to last!

It's amazing how easy it was for Logan to jump onto his maxi kick and jet across the lot

Everyone’s Favorite Knight-in-Training Makes a Special Appearance April 20

Irwindale, CA (April 4, 2013)—Mike the Knight™ will be making a special trip from his kingdom of Glendragon to visit his fans at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire on April 20, in time to celebrate their 51^st Anniversary season. The young knight-in-training will be at the Faire for meet and greets, Mike the Knight storytelling and giveaways throughout the day. Signage at the Faire will direct visitors to the specific area where meet and greets take place.    

Mike the Knight is a brand new CG-animated preschool series that invites viewers into a fantastical world of castles, quests, dragons and trolls, and centers on Mike, a young knight-in-training, with a bright future ahead of him. The son of the King and Queen of Glendragon, he is determined to follow in his father’s footsteps to become a brave and noble knight. Co-produced by HIT Entertainment and Nelvana, the series currently airs on Nick Jr., Monday-Saturday, from 7-8pm. Additionally, a book line featuring Mike the Knight was just released from Simon & Schuster and an all-new toy line from Fisher-Price will debut in May.  

The Renaissance Pleasure Faire, where fantasy rules and whimsical delights take flight, allows attendees to immerse themselves in a village of more than 1,200 costumed performers and artisans that in addition to Mike the Knight, will include dazzling acrobats, internationally acclaimed musicians and entertainers, juggling jokers and jesters. Complete with 16^th century games, rides, arts, crafts, food, music and dance, the event recreates the celebratory spring day in 1574 when the world arrived to entertain Queen Elizabeth in the English Seaport of Deptford.  

Located in Irwindale, CA at 15501 East Arrow Highway, the Renaissance Pleasure Faire will be open rain or shine, 10am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children age five to 12. Children four and under can attend for free. Tickets are available for purchase at www.renfair.com via TicketFly.
