Are you ready for a FUN game? BEJEWELED Frenzy is easily a new family favorite!

This game is intended for 2-4 players (over the age of 8). The objective is to get the most points by building the tallest stack of collapsed cards. To set up the game, you first need to know how many players are going to play. Each player will receive one card (faceup). This card is the beginning of their chain. The remainder of the cards will be distributed evenly into the game case.

The dealer goes first by picking up a card from the game case. You will want to choose the card that matches your current card.

The first person to collapse 3 cards will receive a Boost Gem... which gives you 5 extra points!

Take turns with the other players taking cards from the game case. Each turn you are trying to build your stack of collapsed cards (match 3 gems).

Once you have collapsed 3 cards into one pile, the top card is still in play. Keep it in your card chain. You cannot have any gasps in your chain.

When you run out of cards in the game case, then it's time to declare a winner! Each player needs to score their tallest stack. You get 1 point for each card. You get 5 extra points for each Boost Gem you have collected throughout the game. The person with the most points wins!

Features we love:

• Easy to assemble ~ All I had to do was attach the T-bar (steering rod) to the kickboard. It snapped in easily. I also double checked the screws per instructions (to make sure all screws were tight).
• Enjoyed the "Kick Scooters ~ The Ten Safety Rules" visually appealing safety rules for kids to easily understand. The BIGGEST thing is reminding Logan to wear his helmet! Safety first!
• Two wheels in front along with the T-bar allows for easy maneuvering; 3-wheel scooter design features the unique lean-and-steer mechanism
• Adjustable T-bar = use for taller riders (grows with the child)
• Maximum weight = 120 lbs!!!! Thank you! All of the scooters I have seen are only up to 50 lbs (or less). Nice to find a scooter that will hold more weight.
• The rear ‘spoon’ brake is easy for kids to stop the scooter, plus the double-rear wheels add stability. We made sure Logan knew how to "STOP" his scooter before taking off.
• The maxi kick is well made and sturdy. It is designed to last!

It's amazing how easy it was for Logan to jump onto his maxi kick and jet across the lot

Everyone’s Favorite Knight-in-Training Makes a Special Appearance April 20

Irwindale, CA (April 4, 2013)—Mike the Knight™ will be making a special trip from his kingdom of Glendragon to visit his fans at the Renaissance Pleasure Faire on April 20, in time to celebrate their 51^st Anniversary season. The young knight-in-training will be at the Faire for meet and greets, Mike the Knight storytelling and giveaways throughout the day. Signage at the Faire will direct visitors to the specific area where meet and greets take place.    

Mike the Knight is a brand new CG-animated preschool series that invites viewers into a fantastical world of castles, quests, dragons and trolls, and centers on Mike, a young knight-in-training, with a bright future ahead of him. The son of the King and Queen of Glendragon, he is determined to follow in his father’s footsteps to become a brave and noble knight. Co-produced by HIT Entertainment and Nelvana, the series currently airs on Nick Jr., Monday-Saturday, from 7-8pm. Additionally, a book line featuring Mike the Knight was just released from Simon & Schuster and an all-new toy line from Fisher-Price will debut in May.  

The Renaissance Pleasure Faire, where fantasy rules and whimsical delights take flight, allows attendees to immerse themselves in a village of more than 1,200 costumed performers and artisans that in addition to Mike the Knight, will include dazzling acrobats, internationally acclaimed musicians and entertainers, juggling jokers and jesters. Complete with 16^th century games, rides, arts, crafts, food, music and dance, the event recreates the celebratory spring day in 1574 when the world arrived to entertain Queen Elizabeth in the English Seaport of Deptford.  

Located in Irwindale, CA at 15501 East Arrow Highway, the Renaissance Pleasure Faire will be open rain or shine, 10am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday. Vintage Inspired Swimwear for Children By Chichanella Bella

I am pleased to introduce to you the adorable Vintage Inspired Swimwear for children by Chichanella Bella. I was fortunate to have won one of their adorable swim suits for my daughter, Kira.

They give your baby and/or child a nostalgic feel with the fun ruffles, hand rolled rosettes, polka dots, stripes, and matching bonnets. The swimsuits are made with UPF 50+ rated fabrics and are Made in the U.S.A.

I let Kira choose her new suit. The last time we looked at the site, she was focused on the PINK swimsuits, but she surprised me and picked Candy Dots (in turquoise).

Candy Dots is a one piece suit with square neckline and bloomer style bottoms. I love the finishing touches of ruffles around the neckline and legs, plus ruffled belt and bow. This swimsuit is adorable alone...but pair with the matching bonnet for a super cute look! The hat has a 3 ruffle brim & large bow (and it is too cute for words... just look at the photo below).

I'm so glad she decided to try a different color! Turquoise (blue) is so flattering on her milky white skin... and WOW do her eyes look vibrantly BRIGHT BLUE with this swimsuit.

The suit and bonnet are well made and fit perfectly. I ordered Kira a size 4 (she will turn 4 in June) and it fits her like a glove. It will fit all summer long. As a mom, I am thrilled to have so much of her skin covered with UPF 50+ fabric! Kira seems super comfortable in her new suit. It's easy to run around in and play.
